Drumroll, please! I’m so pleased to welcome you to Into Practice, Phreesia’s new blog. If you’re here, you probably already know at least a bit about Phreesia and the work we do to help healthcare organizations transform their patient intake process. If you’re interested, you can find out more here.
But enough about us. We envision this blog not as a place to talk about ourselves but as a resource that healthcare providers, administrators, senior leaders and others can rely on for valuable industry news, analysis and best practices to help them make their organizations more successful and patient-centered.
Into Practice will feature some of the most well-known thought leaders in healthcare providing their insights on a wide range of timely topics, including healthcare workforce trends, revenue-cycle optimization tips, and innovative ways to improve the patient experience and boost engagement.
Through compelling stories and first-person narratives, we’ll highlight the great work being done by administrators and providers across the country and give you pointers on how to put those ideas into practice (see what we did there?) in your own organizations. And each week, we’ll collect and share relevant, thought-provoking healthcare news from across the web.
This is probably a good time to tell you a bit about myself: I’m the content director at Phreesia and I’ll be overseeing Into Practice and writing many of the posts that will appear on the blog. Prior to joining Phreesia, I spent more than a decade as a healthcare journalist. Most recently, I worked at Modern Healthcare, an industry-leading trade publication where I covered patient safety and quality, the rollout of the Affordable Care Act, the shift from volume- to value-based care, and many other topics. I’m looking so forward to bringing my perspective and experiences to this blog.
