What’s new: We now offer the Childhood Asthma Control Test (C-ACT), a clinically validated patient-reported outcome.
How this helps you: This seven-item questionnaire includes questions for both children and their caregivers. It assesses symptoms over the past four weeks to help providers evaluate asthma control, improve patients’ quality of life and prevent unnecessary medical visits.

Never lose a procedural consent form again: Introducing Phreesia Forms
What’s new: Replace your outdated paper workflows with a digital consent-management solution built into your Phreesia Dashboard: Procedural Consents, part of the new Phreesia Forms product suite.

Boost engagement with Appointment Accelerator messages
What’s new: We now support preferred-language translation of Appointment Accelerator’s automated text messages for organizations using eClinicalWorks!
If patients have one of the following languages set as their “preferred language” in the eCW system, Appointment Accelerator will translate messages to that language:
- English
- Spanish
- Haitian
- Portuguese
- Italian
- Russian
- French
- Vietnamese
- Chinese
How this helps you: Sending messages in patients’ preferred languages helps them better understand—and engage with—the opportunity to rebook or reschedule their appointments to earlier dates. Patients are more likely to get the care they need sooner, and your open slots are more likely to be filled.
Next step: This functionality will be automatically available for eCW users upon release.
View patient comments directly within Oracle
What’s new: Comments that patients enter during online self-scheduling will now be exported to the “Visit Reason” field within the Oracle Health EHR.
How this helps you: Providers can easily view patients’ comments within Oracle before each visit directly in their charts.
Next step: This functionality will be automatically available upon release for clients using Oracle and self-scheduling.
Help patients self-schedule the right visit—automatically
What’s new: You can now add logic to custom question sets on your self-scheduling forms to restrict provider and location dropdowns based on patients’ answers.
How this helps you: Automatically ask questions that help patients schedule the right visit for their needs. Providers who only see patients of a certain age range or with a certain insurance, for example, will not be booked for patients who don’t meet those criteria.
Then, staff won’t have to call self-scheduled patients to rebook—saving you time and effort at the front desk.
Next step: This feature is currently in beta. Contact your Phreesia representative to join the beta opportunity or waitlist!
Offer a faster self-scheduling experience
What’s new: We’re streamlining the way we load time slots that patients see during self-scheduling. When our system communicates with your EHR to identify time slots, we’ll now do it in larger batches—meaning we’ll need to make fewer calls to EHRs’ APIs, so we can load time slots faster.
How this helps you: The form will load more quickly, improving patients’ experience. Plus, setting up self-scheduling will be simpler for you.
Next step: This update will occur automatically upon release.

These pre-built modules can be seamlessly added to your existing intake workflows. Standardized tools
We now offer the following clinically validated patient-reported outcomes (PROs).
Child and Adolescent Trauma Screen (CATS)
This tool assesses post-traumatic stress symptoms and traumatic experiences in patients ages 7-17.
The questionnaire includes 15 items measuring potentially traumatic events, 20 measuring symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder and five items measuring the impact of trauma on patients’ daily life.
Brief COPE
This tool assesses patients’ coping strategies and responses to stress, helping providers understand the impact stress may have on patients’ quality of life. It includes 14 subscales, each with two items.
Vulvar Pain Functional Questionnaire (VQ)
This 11-item questionnaire evaluates how pelvic pain affects patients’ daily life, including their mobility and the clothes they wear, helping providers create treatment plans to address symptoms.
Best-practice content
The Phreesia team develops patient interviews based on your feedback to help you collect high-quality patient-reported information. We employ best practices from leading medical organizations and industry leaders when developing these questionnaires.
Update to Pneumo Vaccine Recall: Adults 65+
