When we founded Phreesia in 2005, we saw an opportunity to help patients take an active role in their care. Our innovative technology empowers healthcare organizations to better understand their patients and equip them with the knowledge, skills and confidence to succeed.

Chaim Indig has served as Phreesia’s Chief Executive Officer and a member of its Board since co-founding the company in 2005. Mr. Indig has helped shape the healthcare experience and improve outcomes for patients, providers and staff. Under his leadership, Phreesia has established a broad national footprint, developed strategic partnerships with some of the world’s largest healthcare companies, and earned accolades for the company’s role in helping to making care more efficient and patient-centered. He also led Phreesia through its initial public offering in 2019 and was named one of The Software Report’s Top 50 SaaS CEOs in 2021. Prior to co-founding Phreesia, Mr. Indig spearheaded the introduction of the analytics software company, Spotfire, Inc., into the pharmaceutical marketing space.

Since co-founding Phreesia in 2005, Evan Roberts has led the company’s efforts to bring the highest value to its clients. As Chief Operating Officer, he oversees Phreesia’s ongoing operations and procedures, including designing and implementing business practices and establishing policies that promote the company’s culture and vision. In this role, Evan also oversees Phreesia’s Provider business, including Customer Solutions, Customer Operations, Sales and Sales Development. He previously served as Chief Technology Officer, and as Vice President, Customer Solutions.
Prior to co-founding Phreesia, Evan was a senior sales engineer at Spotfire, where he helped to penetrate new markets, resulting in significant net new revenue. There, he developed innovative applications and trained and managed his team to support and nurture these new markets. He holds a BS in computer engineering from Tufts University.

As Chief Financial Officer, Balaji Gandhi leverages more than 25 years of executive experience to oversee the company’s budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, financial analysis, internal controls and investor relations.
Prior to joining Phreesia, he spent nearly a decade in leadership roles at companies including Madaket Health, Press Ganey and Fresenius Medical Care, where he worked across finance, corporate development, strategy and investor relations. He also spent more than a decade as an investment research analyst in the healthcare services market at several financial and investment firms, including Deutsche Bank, GE Capital and Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. Balaji holds a master’s degree in health services administration from The George Washington University and a BA from the University of Rochester.

Amy VanDuyn brings more than 20 years of HR experience to Phreesia, where she is responsible for the design and implementation of all talent strategies, policies and processes across the company.
Prior to joining Phreesia, Amy worked in human resource leadership roles across many industries, including hospitality, SaaS and public relations, contributing to the growth and culture of companies at a variety of sizes and stages. Her passion lies in working closely with business leaders to define and implement talent strategies that align with their business goals, and creating environments where people can grow and excel in their careers. Amy holds a BA in hospitality business from Michigan State University.

Matt oversees Phreesia’s budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis activities, and advises how to most effectively utilize Phreesia’s financial resources. Prior to joining Phreesia, Matt led Global Revenue FP&A and Commercial Finance and Operations at Medidata Solutions, a leading provider of SaaS-based life sciences and clinical trial platforms. He also worked at Verizon Communications in a variety of finance functions including Pricing and FP&A. Matt holds a MS in Finance from the University of Rochester Simon School of Business and a BA in Finance from Weber State University.

Yvonne oversees Phreesia’s revenue recognition and the quote-to-cash operations functions in the finance department. Prior to joining Phreesia, Yvonne spent more than a decade in leadership roles at companies including Google, Spotify, Twitter and Intuitive Surgical, where she was responsible for the global revenue operations, accounting, internal controls, and reporting functions. She also spent nearly a decade as an auditor at PwC. Yvonne is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Hull in the United Kingdom.

As Phreesia’s VP of Corporate Communications, Maureen McKinney oversees all aspects of internal and external communications, including public relations, content marketing and brand storytelling.
Maureen has nearly 20 years of experience in healthcare journalism and communications. Prior to joining Phreesia in 2015, Maureen was a reporter at Modern Healthcare, a business publication for healthcare executives, where she covered healthcare IT, quality and patient safety, and also created editorial content for events and conferences. She holds a BA in Communications from the University of Michigan and an MSJ from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.

Kristen represents Phreesia before policymakers and other third parties on a wide range of issues that impact healthcare, our clients and our employees. Kristen has more than 20 years of government and public affairs healthcare experience at the local, state and national levels, including interoperability, privacy and patient engagement.
Prior to joining Phreesia, Kristen was most recently the Senior Director, Federal Affairs, at McKesson Corporation. Previously, she served as the Vice President of Government Relations for HMS, now Gainwell Technologies. Kristen also represented Walgreens Corporation, the Alzheimer’s Association and other healthcare clients at Stateside Associates. Kristen holds a BA from Duquesne University in political science and psychology.

As Phreesia’s General Counsel, Allison manages the company’s Legal, Compliance, Risk, Privacy and Security teams. She has more than 25 years of legal and people-management experience.
Prior to joining Phreesia, she served as Chief Legal and Administrative Officer for Intersection, a digital technology company focused on improving life in cities and public spaces. Prior to joining Intersection, Allison oversaw the legal and human resources departments for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, culminating in oversight of the company’s sale. She began her career at Skadden Arps. Allison holds a BA from the College of Arts and Sciences and a BS from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and she received her JD from the University of Chicago Law School.

As Phreesia’s Assistant General Counsel for General Contracts, Tiffany negotiates the commercial agreements for the enterprise partners, providers and procurement vendors, and counsels the leadership and sales teams on other complex compliance, risk, privacy and security issues. She has more than 18 years of legal and people-management experience.
Prior to joining Phreesia, she served as Senior In-House Counsel at Accenture LLP. Prior to her tenure at Accenture LLP, Tiffany was an Associate at Arnstein & Lehr LLP in Chicago. She began her career as a Computer Systems Analyst at Hewitt & Associates. Tiffany holds a BA from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) in Health Care Administration and she received her JD from the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) – Chicago Kent School of Law.

As Assistant General Counsel – Corporate and Securities, Alexis manages Phreesia’s SEC compliance, corporate governance and corporate transactions.
Prior to joining Phreesia, she served as Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary for Vivint Solar, culminating in its merger with Sunrun. Prior to joining Vivint Solar, Alexis served as Assistant General Counsel in the Corporate Secretary’s department at AIG. She began her career at Clifford Chance in New York. She holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD from New York University School of Law.

Nick works with business teams to find design solutions for product offerings. This entails evaluating changing regulatory requirements in areas such as privacy, data strategy, accessibility, payment, telecommunications and artificial intelligence.
Prior to Phreesia, Nick was an associate in the healthcare practice group of a national law firm, where he provided health regulatory advice to provider and life science clients, conducted investigations and supported related transactional matters. He holds a BA in English from Indiana University and a JD from the Yale Law School.

As Chief Privacy Officer, Melissa Mitchell leverages her extensive experience as an attorney, as well as a compliance and privacy professional, to advise on data privacy matters and administer Phreesia’s global privacy policies.
Prior to joining Phreesia, Melissa served as the Chief of Privacy for Amazon Health Services, where she supported several different domestic and international businesses and projects in the healthcare space. She also previously served as the Compliance and Privacy Officer at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, an inpatient rehabilitation facility, and in the same role at Sinai Health, a multi-specialty safety net system in southwest Chicago. Melissa holds a BA from the New College of Florida and received her JD from the DePaul University College of Law. She is also certified in Healthcare Compliance.

Jack Callahan joined Phreesia in 2010. As Chief Technology Officer, he oversees Phreesia’s core and integration platforms, and is responsible for the company’s Patient Intake, Data Center Operations, Site Reliability Engineering and Analytics teams.
Prior to joining Phreesia, Jack was a developer and architect at Spotfire, where he worked on the professional services team helping clients from a wide range of industries gather and analyze their data. He holds a BS in computer science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

As the leader of Phreesia’s Product Management team, Kristin Roberts is responsible for driving the product vision and roadmap in order to solve problems for our clients and help patients become more active and involved in their healthcare.
Before joining Phreesia in 2014, Kristin was a management consultant at Booz & Company, where she led product launch and growth strategy engagements for its life sciences clients. She also worked as a consultant at ZS Associates, specializing in quantitative physician market research and sales deployment optimization. Kristin earned an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in public health studies from Johns Hopkins University.

Sally oversees Phreesia’s Patient Engagement applications and works with the company’s product team to provide clients with innovative and user-friendly solutions.
Prior to joining Phreesia, Sally spent seven years in product management with HealthStream, a leading provider of healthcare workforce development. She also assisted in executing clinical trials and served on the institutional review board at Centerstone, one of the nation’s largest behavioral healthcare organizations. Sally holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University and an A.B. in psychology from Duke University.

As VP of Product Management, David oversees Phreesia’s integration products and works with the company’s Product team to provide clients with integration and automation solutions. He has over a decade of experience developing integrated product in the healthcare industry, including FDA 510(k)-regulated and healthcare interoperability standards-based products.
Prior to joining Phreesia, David spent seven years in product development at Capsule Tech, a medical device integration company, where he oversaw the development of hundreds of medical device integrations, managed design controls and successfully passed multiple FDA 510k audits for Capsule Tech’s medical-grade software products. In addition, David participated in the early stages of the IHE Patient Care Devices Domain working group, developing some of the initial implementations of these IHE standards. He studied computer engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Elizabeth oversees Phreesia’s data and clinical products and works with the company’s Product team to provide clients with insightful solutions that help patients become more active in their healthcare.
Prior to joining Phreesia, Elizabeth worked at various financial institutions and advertising agencies, specializing in measurement and growth strategies. Elizabeth holds an MPH from the University of Pennsylvania and an BBA in Finance and Public Policy from The George Washington University.

Russell joined Phreesia in 2013 to further expand the organization’s patient payment services. With over 15 years of software engineering and agile project management experience, Russell continues to lead Phreesia’s Payments engineering group, along with a new focus on improving Phreesia’s appointment-scheduling systems.
Before joining Phreesia, Russell led several engineering teams across multiple industries while serving as a Solutions Architect and Director for Matrix Resources. While at Matrix, Russell championed multiple agile software development processes, which he continues to do at Phreesia. He holds a BSBA in Management Information Systems from the University of West Florida.

As VP of Engineering, Richard leads the Life Sciences Engineering group, developing products to engage patients directly, and supporting Phreesia’s Life Sciences partners. He has been with Phreesia since 2014, managing a range of key architectural initiatives, including the development and expansion of the company’s Patient Communications products.
Prior to joining Phreesia, Richard held software engineering leadership roles in a variety of industries, including retail energy and internet banking. Richard holds a BSc in Computer Science from Kingston University, London, UK.

Will oversees all of Phreesia’s infrastructure and IT departments, ensuring the reliable delivery of our suite of applications to our client network. Prior to joining Phreesia, Will spent more than eight years in cloud engineering at Cisco. He possesses extensive experience in infrastructure, agile transformation, and recruitment and leadership of high performing engineering teams, including while as a Partner at Accenture. Will holds an MBA from National University and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Southern California.

Dr. Hatch leads the development of clinical programs at Phreesia. She partners with clinical leaders to improve quality performance through the implementation of patient-reported outcomes (PROs), social and behavioral needs screenings and patient activation modules.
Prior to joining Phreesia, Dr. Hatch was Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Vital Score, a digital health company acquired by Phreesia in 2018. She is an Instructor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins and serves on the faculty of the Psychoanalytic Association of NY (PANY) affiliated with NYU Langone Health. She holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from City University of New York, a postdoctoral certificate in psychoanalysis from PANY, and a BA from Columbia College.

Nick leads Phreesia’s strategic sales efforts, working to acquire enterprise clients and to evaluate, enter and design solutions for new markets. Nick partners with a broad range of healthcare leaders to help them improve the patient experience and achieve their organizational goals. He brings more than a decade of industry knowledge to his role, with experience in areas ranging from electronic health records, medical-imaging software and medical devices and supplies to revenue cycle management and digital solutions.
Prior to joining Phreesia, Nick held management roles at several healthcare software, device and supply companies, as well as positions in advertising and experiential marketing. He earned a BS in advertising from the University of Illinois.

Derrick Deberry co-leads Phreesia’s provider sales organization. Throughout his career at Phreesia he has held various roles focused on growing the company’s provider network and helping healthcare organizations transform the way they engage their patients.
Derrick, who has nearly 20 years of industry experience, began his career as a certified exercise physiologist and healthcare administrator. He holds a BS in Kinesiology from Georgia Southern University.

Ashwin oversees Phreesia’s Sale and Marketing Operations. He is responsible for developing and refining the sales strategy and processes and providing strategic insight to drive sustainable growth.
Ashwin brings more than 15 years of experience to his role. Prior to joining Phreesia, Ashwin was an entrepreneur, during which time he co-founded, launched and sold a global compliance technology startup. Prior to that, Ashwin worked in investment banking and venture capital focused on mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory and early-stage investing in the Software and Internet space. Ashwin started his career in management consulting where he co-launched Ernst & Young LLP’s first financial services industry-focused data analysis practice.
Ashwin holds a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Lehigh University, where he graduated with honors.

Sara leads the Client Services and Client Success teams at Phreesia. In this role, Sara is responsible for pre-sales activities, implementation, workflow optimization and ongoing account management. Sara works closely with teams inside Phreesia to solve for the unique challenges our clients face by providing tailored solutions that fit their needs and enhance the patient experience.
Prior to joining Phreesia, she spent six years at Cerner Corporation leading a UX team supporting patient applications as well as supporting existing clients in ongoing upgrades and physician workflow optimization. She earned a BS in business administration and an MBA from the University of Missouri.

David Linetsky is responsible for cultivating Phreesia’s partnerships with Life Sciences companies, supporting them in the development of healthcare products that deliver value and engage patients in their care. He has worked at Phreesia for more than a decade and held key leadership roles, including Vice President of Analytics and Insights, and Vice President of Finance.
Prior to joining Phreesia, David worked in academia as a researcher and instructor in the fields of biotechnology, mathematics and philosophy. David holds a BS in mathematics from the University of Alberta. He also earned a master’s degree and was a PhD candidate in mathematics and logic at the City University of New York.

Danielle leads Phreesia’s Client Experience team for the company’s Life Sciences department. She is responsible for helping Life Sciences clients, including pharmaceutical companies and media agencies, reach their ideal patient audiences through targeted digital engagement campaigns.
Prior to joining Phreesia, Danielle spent more than a decade working in account management for such organizations as CDM, DDB Health and Publicis LifeBrands Medicus, where she focused on strategic marketing campaigns for launching and managing the life cycles of high-science therapies. Danielle earned a BA in marketing from James Madison University.

Sandra Schittone is responsible for Phreesia Market Development Efforts for Life Science. Capitalizing on her experience in healthcare and strength as a strategic cross-functional player who can shape product and operational offerings that create meaningful outcomes, she leads a team focused on finding innovative potential within the business segmentation.
A 15-year Phreesia veteran, she has held leadership roles at Phreesia including Specialty Provider Sales team, Strategic Account Management., and Enterprise Health System partnerships.
Prior to joining Phreesia, Sandra held leadership positions with Capital One, Viacom and Diebold, focusing on healthcare revenue cycle management, consumer engagement, merchant processing and payments, network television distribution, and self-service POS technologies.
Sandra is a charter member to the Pink Ribbon Story Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to sharing breast-cancer survivor stories. She also is a member of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association and a founding member of Children Helping Children. Sandra earned a BS from Florida State University.

Alexandra Beneville leads the Content Strategy team for Phreesia’s Life Sciences department, where she is responsible for helping life sciences companies develop and implement health content and campaigns to engage and activate patients throughout their care journey.
Prior to joining Phreesia, Alexandra was the Vice President of Marketing at Phosphorus, where she led marketing for the direct-to-consumer genomic testing company. She has spent more than two decades working in marketing and brand management roles at companies including Wunderman Thompson Japan, Wunderman Health DC, Saatchi & Saatchi Healthcare Advertising and Eli Lilly Global Marketing. She holds an MBA and an MA in Middle East Studies from the University of Chicago, and a BA in History from Smith College.

Michael serves as Founding Chair of Phreesia. He is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Ardan Equity, a healthcare enterprise software private equity firm. Previously, Michael was Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Optum Ventures. He was Co-Founder and CEO of Humedica, a pioneer and leader in the field of population health management and big data. Following Humedica’s acquisition by UnitedHealth Group (UHG), Michael broadened his role as President and CEO of Optum Analytics. Prior to launching Humedica, he was a Senior Managing Director at Leerink Partners (now SVB Leerink). Michael was CEO of PharMetrics, which was acquired by IMS Health (now IQVIA). He focuses on healthcare innovation as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Harvard Business School, an Advisory Board member of the Innovation and Digital Health Accelerator at Boston Children’s Hospital, and is on the board of The College Diabetes Network (CDN). Michael received a BA in Economics from Brandeis University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Ed is a partner at HLM Venture Partners. Previously, he was a founding partner of Cahill, Warnock & Co. (now Camden Partners) and a managing director at Alex. Brown & Sons, where he headed the firm’s healthcare group. During his leadership at Alex. Brown & Sons, the firm underwrote public offerings or provided merger advisory services for over 200 healthcare companies and several leading biopharmaceutical companies. Ed is a director at Masimo Corp. and a trustee of Johns Hopkins Medicine, the Johns Hopkins Health System Corp. and Mercy Health Services.

Lainie is the Chief Financial Officer of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., a leading global interactive entertainment company, where she oversees finance, investor relations and corporate communications. Lainie is a CPA with more than 30 years of financial and business experience in the software, entertainment, retail and apparel industries.
Prior to joining Take-Two, she was Vice President of Finance and Business Development at Nautica Enterprises, Inc. She also worked in the audit and reorganization departments at Grant Thornton LLP. Lainie holds a BSBA in accounting from the American University in Washington, D.C.

Gillian is the Chief Financial Officer at Vimeo, the world’s leading all-in-one video software solution. She previously served as CFO at Iora Health and as a partner at Union Square Ventures, a venture capital firm based in New York City, and has more than 25 years of corporate experience in the financial and technology industries. She also spent seven years as Chief Financial Officer for XO Group, Inc., an online media and technology company, which she and her team sold in 2018. Previously, Gillian served as Managing Director at Allen & Company and Executive Director of Equity Research at Morgan Stanley. She also serves on the boards of Sweet Briar College and the St. Regis Foundation.

Mark is a Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of California at San Francisco and Visiting Professor at the School of Public Health at the University of California at Berkeley. He co-chairs the Guiding Committee of the Health Care Payment Learning and Action Network. A nationally recognized leader in healthcare improvement and health policy, Mark was the founding president and former CEO of the California HealthCare Foundation, a philanthropic organization focused on improving the health of Californians, which he led from 1996 to 2013. He was elected to the Institute of Medicine in 2001.

Ramin is the CEO of Sumo Logic, the pioneer in continuous intelligence. He joined Sumo Logic from VMware, where he helped build the industry’s leading private cloud management products. During his nearly five-year tenure, the Cloud Management Business Unit became the fastest growing business within the company, with nearly $1 billion in revenue. He also held executive roles at leading enterprises including HP Software, Mercury Software and TIBCO. He serves on the technology and executive boards of various startup companies.

Lisa is the former Vice President, Medical Innovations for DH Diagnostics, LLC, an affiliate of Danaher Corporation. In this role, she provided medical advice to influence research, partnership and investment strategy across Danaher’s diagnostic platform businesses. She previously served as Interim Chief Medical Officer for certain subsidiaries of Danaher Corporation; Vice President, Global Patient Centered Outcomes and Solutions at Sanofi, Inc.; Co-Founder and Director of ROI Squared, LLC; Managing Director for LED Enterprise, LLC; and Vice President of U.S. Medical Operations at Pfizer, where she led clinical and outcomes research. She has also served in senior advisory roles for Avalere Health and Booz Allen Hamilton. Lisa is currently on the Board of Directors for Omega Healthcare Investors and Avanos Medical, and she also serves on the Johns Hopkins Medicine Board of Trustees and the National Advisory Council for the Johns Hopkins University School of Education.
