Offer a more accessible patient experience during self-scheduling

What’s new: We’ve improved the user interface (UI) of our self-scheduling and appointment request forms. Updates include:

  • More accessible colors
  • Clearer location information on the self-scheduling form
  • An entire week of time slots rather than a single day to give patients more flexibility during self-scheduling
  • Improved navigation to better guide patients through the process

How this helps you: Greater accessibility will prompt more patients to complete these forms rather than calling your organization to schedule—saving you up to 8 minutes per visit.

Simplify calls during the day and after-hours—now with integrated features

What’s new: We’re expanding PhreesiaOnCall and Phreesia Answer integrations!

How this helps you: PhreesiaOnCall is our free solution that automates after-hours call tracking, supports secure chat with your patients and saves documentation to your EHR. Plus, providers automatically see a snapshot of each caller’s record.

Phreesia Answer helps you hang up on endless phone tag and reduce hold times while seeing up to 83% lower costs per call. Triage, record and transcribe every call during the workday, then route them to the right line.

Next step: Both solutions are coming to Veradigm, eClinicalWorks and Greenway Intergy.

Get ready for a new Phreesia University experience

What’s new: We’re overhauling Phreesia University to make training your staff on Phreesia features faster and more intuitive. You can expect an updated UI, shorter New User Training sessions, easier access to your enrollments and “bite-sized” learning opportunities.

How this helps you: It will be easier to find training content and take less time to complete, so you can fit training into your busy day. You’ll learn the important details you need to get the most value from your Phreesia products.

Next step: The Phreesia University updates are coming soon and will be automatically available.

Remind patients to complete their medication adherence survey

What’s new: We’ve updated our medication adherence solution to automatically send reminder messages to patients that previously opened a medication adherence message.

How this helps you: Reminder messages provide another opportunity for patients to review their prescription and pharmacy information as well as to access valuable cost-saving resources.

Next step: Reminders will be automatically available to all organizations currently using the medication adherence solution.

Communications

Get notified of new Patient Chat messages on the Mobile Dashboard

What’s new: Identify chats with unread messages on the Mobile Dashboard. You’ll see a new icon showing the number of chats with new messages.

How this helps you: Respond more promptly to patients. That improves their experience and prevents them from calling your organization to follow up on unanswered questions.

Next step: This update will be automatically available to organizations using both the Mobile Dashboard and Patient Chat.

Dashboard

Improve focus with a simplified Dashboard view

What’s new: You can now filter your Dashboard by any appointment type. Navigate to the filter overlay and select the type you want to see.

How this helps you: Focus only on the visits relevant to you or your current task.

Next step: This feature will be automatically available.

Registration

See alerts when it’s time to update your PadX

What’s new: We’ll now send notifications to your PadX devices alerting you of application or OS updates.

How this helps you: We’ll tell you exactly which devices need attention and what you need to do, so you can keep them updated without confusion.

Next step: Update your Phreesia Registration application and restart your PadX to enable these notifications. (You should update the app with every release—that will ensure you see all the general interview improvements, bug fixes and new features on time!)

Phreesia Library

Phreesia offers a library of standardized tools and best-practice content designed to align with industry recommendations and increase completion rates. These pre-built modules can be seamlessly added to your existing intake workflows. Organizations that use these modules see a 9.5% lower drop rate, and patients complete interviews 48.8% faster compared to custom content.

We deploy new and updated content every release. Contact your Phreesia representative to get started!

Measles Awareness Health Campaign

We’ve created a Health Campaign to provide information on measles, including its symptoms, who is at risk and how patients can protect themselves.

Update to Contagious Illness Screening Questions

We’ve added “red, watery eyes,” which is a common symptom associated with measles. This information could be valuable for assessing patients during the ongoing measles outbreak.

New versions of Tuberculosis Exposure Risk module

We updated the language for adult patients and added questions to assess those who could be immunocompromised.

Standardized tools

We now offer the following clinically validated patient-reported outcomes (PROs).

Conjoint Screen for Alcohol and Other Drug Problems

This two-item tool helps detect substance misuse. Results may identify patients who could benefit from more comprehensive evaluation.

WE CARE screening tool

This 10-item tool collects patient-reported data on social drivers of health (SDOH). Geared towards pediatrics to screen families, it evaluates six needs:

  • Childcare
  • Employment
  • Housing
  • Food
  • Education
  • Utilities
