Learn from the Phreesia team about how improving the patient experience can boost your revenue: Watch our Winter Showcase!

Identify out-of-network patients, reduce escalations and collect reimbursements sooner

What’s new: Our out-of-network (OON) tag is now in Beta! This feature automatically adds a tag next to patients’ names in the Dashboard when they’re OON.

How this helps you: You’ll save time identifying OON patients—no need to contact their payers!—and give staff the opportunity to discuss eligibility with OON patients before their visit. That way, you can avoid patient escalations over surprise bills and increase timely collections.

Try it for free: Fast-track collections after time of service

What’s new: With Phreesia’s revenue cycle tools, you can save staff time on post-visit collections—and maintain visibility throughout the process. Stay in control of outstanding balances with flexible tools tailored to your organization.

How this helps you: You’ll reduce reliance on paper statements and collection agencies while accelerating post-visit payments.

Access

Understand delivery issues with outreach messages when they happen

What’s new: When you export a data file from the Patient Outreach Manager (POM), you’ll now see an “Error” column that describes why certain outreach messages failed to deliver.

For example, if you attempted to email a patient who didn’t have an email address on file, you’ll see “No email address on file” in the new column.

If the message was delivered successfully, the “Error” column will remain blank.

How this helps you: Quickly identify which patients didn’t receive your messages, so you can follow up with them if needed. Plus, it will be easier to troubleshoot and correct any delivery issues at scale.

Next step: This update will be automatically available.

Clinical

Review patient allergy information in the Oracle Health Clinical Reconciliation app

What’s new: Information patients provide about their allergies during intake will now be saved to their records within Oracle Health through the Clinical Reconciliation application.

How this helps you: Your clinical team will have insight into patients’ allergies before the visit, and you’ll save time on data entry.

Next step: This update will be automatically available for clients using the Oracle Health Clinical Reconciliation app. The app is currently in Beta.

Dashboard

Launch Phreesia directly from athenaOne

What’s new: You can now access the Phreesia Mobile Dashboard from your athenaOne environment!

How this helps you: You won’t have to leave athenaOne to access the Phreesia intake app. That means you can reduce the number of times you log in to your services, since the same login details you use for athenaOne will allow you to launch Phreesia.

Next step: athenaOne users, reach out to your Phreesia representative to set up this feature.

Filter the Mobile Dashboard by appointment type

What’s new: You can now filter the Mobile Dashboard by appointment type from the filter slideout.

How this helps you: Only need to see one appointment type at a time? Focus more easily by filtering your view.

Next step: This functionality will be automatically available. Stay tuned: Soon, you’ll be able to filter the desktop Dashboard by appointment type, too!

Eligibility & Benefits

More easily access E&B Transaction History data

What’s new: We increased the amount of E&B Transaction History data you can export from 1,000 rows to 10,000 rows. We also added a drop-down menu to the Export List button, so you can now choose to export either filtered results or all results.

How this helps you: Analyzing the data you need will be quick and easy, since you’ll be able to see more of it in a single export.

Next step: This functionality will be automatically available.

Registration

Experience a more intuitive post-check-in workflow

What’s new: We’re renaming our Auto Post Check-In feature to “Final Attempt Check-In” to better represent its purpose as the final attempt to gather intake information during the visit.

The new name more clearly differentiates this workflow from the “Post Check-Out” workflows.

How this helps you: This update will help reduce staff confusion between intake workflows.

Next step: The name change will occur automatically.

Phreesia Library

Phreesia offers a library of standardized tools and best-practice content designed to align with industry recommendations and increase completion rates. These pre-built modules can be seamlessly added to your existing intake workflows. Organizations that use these modules see a 9.5% lower drop rate, and patients complete interviews 48.8% faster compared to custom content.

We deploy new and updated content every release. Contact your Phreesia representative to get started!

Update to Contact Information – M

We’ve updated the Preferred Contact Method options patients can choose to align with the options available in athenahealth. Since athenahealth removed the “mail” and “patient portal” options, patients will no longer be able to select these—reducing confusion and data inaccuracy.

Update to Parent/Guardian Photo module

We adjusted the language in this module to better explain the type of images parents/guardians should upload.

Update to Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Vaccine Information Statement

The 2025 version of the RSV Vaccine Information Statement now includes the age of administration and other updated language to better help provide patients with vaccine-specific information they need to make informed healthcare decisions.

Standardized tools

We now offer the following clinically validated patient-reported outcomes (PROs).

Ask Suicide Screening Questions

This 4-item questionnaire evaluates patients’ suicide risk.

We recommend using this module while patients are in the office, so providers can review responses in real time and support any patients who may be at risk.

Obstructive Sleep Apnea Quality of Life Questionnaire (OSA-18)

This 18-item tool screens for pediatric OSA and assesses the quality of life of children with OSA.
