This position requires experience in:
- Using prioritized requirements and your knowledge of usability considerations to create clear and detailed mockups and functional specs for the engineering team to use as a development blueprint.
- Creating and maintaining end-to-end technical design specifications. Facilitating review and signoff of specifications by stakeholders
- Serving as the primary point of contact and communication concerning overall feature architecture, design, and implementation. Proactively identifying technical issues and roadblocks, and seeking resolution with technical proposals across different product and engineering teams.
- Identifying/Designing all the points of interaction and integration across the different systems/subsystems.
- Transitioning a project from development to User Acceptance.
The ideal candidate will possess many of the following qualities:
- Health Care technology experience (HL7, PHR, EMR’s, Interface Engines)
- Financial transaction processing
- Several years of experience in architecture/design/development of large systems.
- Strong software design and project management knowledge
- A functional understanding of current web technologies and standards
- Hands-on experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and .NET technologies as well as project management tools (MS Project, etc.)
- The ability to meet deadlines and budgets
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate with executives, programmers, and our support team with equal ease
- Basic graphics abilities (comfort with Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, and similar applications)
