We are searching for a Senior Windows Systems Engineer with at least 3-5 years experience in managing complex Windows based web applications in a remote datacenter. This position will require a high level of proficiency with MS SQL Server, IIS, and network configuration. This position will be responsible for ensuring uptime of the network, monitoring of the server farm, and proactively monitoring and analyzing the performance of the systems.
Phreesia's new Ottawa office
Phreesia opened its Ottawa Office in October 2007, established to acquire and support its growing network of US physicians. The Ottawa center will take advantage of the latest technologies to be seamlessly integrated with our New York headquarters.
This position requires the ability to stand alone in a very technically advanced environment where you may experience and be responsible for solving challenging issues
This position will perform the following duties:
- SQL Cluster configuration and troubleshooting
- Handle highly complex configuration and troubleshooting of IIS and web applications
- Administration of Active Directory, IIS and MS SQL in multi-server environment, along with supporting ASP and .Net
- Recommend performance optimization
- Ability to add in non-standard modules to IIS
- Load Balancer configuration and troubleshooting
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory and DNS
- Expert knowledge of Windows 2003 Systems Administration and IIS version 6.0
- Proactively monitor and resolve any and all IIS issues while being able to backup and recover the systems from scratch
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills are critical
- Comprehensive knowledge of TCP/IP is critical as well
- SQL Server Administration and configuration
