We are looking for a passionate, self starting, and highly motivated Jr. Technical Support Engineer. The Jr. Technical Support Engineer position requires a highly motivated and energetic individual who has the ability to: work well in a team environment, learn quickly, multitask, and good analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Support, configure, re-configure, troubleshoot, and repair windows based tablet PCs
  • Install, Support, Troubleshoot, and configure network devices (Wireless routers and switches)
  • Remotely install and troubleshoot proprietary desktop application
  • Inventory management
  • Day to day phone support
Qualifications:

This is an entry level position that offers the potential for rapid growth of both skills and responsibilities for the right candidate. Individuals with a determination to be successful and a willingness to work hard are encouraged to respond.

Experience and Attitude:

  • Professional in appearance, attitude and communications
  • A balance between technical competence and the ability to communicate
  • Self-starter, highly motivated
  • Enjoys working independently
  • Enjoys the challenges of a startup and working in a team environment

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Basic PC knowledge (hardware and software)
  • Experience with Windows OS i.e. XP & vista, windows CE and wireless technology a plus
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to travel, possibly on short notice
  • Experience working in a remote support environment

Education

A University or College Degree or Trade School with a strong focus on technology
