Early Access

New practice view for Appointment Accelerator reports

Previously, enterprise organizations using Appointment Accelerator were unable to filter their Appointment Accelerator metrics by practice in the “Breakdown and Analysis” tab of their report. Now, you can!

Early Access participants that are enterprise organizations using Appointment Accelerator will:

  • Be able to compare fill rates across practices in a single view
  • Identify improvement opportunities
  • No longer need to open each practice’s individual report

Reach out to your Phreesia representative if you’re interested in joining this Early Access opportunity.

Communications

New friendly URLS

We understand that some patients receive links to check in from Phreesia that aren’t immediately identifiable as coming from their healthcare provider. To help patients quickly identify messages coming from your organization via Phreesia, we’re now offering the ability to update our check-in URLs to match your branding. You can choose a four-character abbreviation to display in your URLs.

For example, a URL might now read “hchs.secure-checkin.com/oifg9E” to make it clearer that the message is from Healthy Choice Health System (HCHS). Previously, the URL would have read “phreesia.me/oifg9E.”

This feature will help more patients feel comfortable checking in and making payments online.

For additional information and enablement instructions, please contact your Phreesia representative.

“Patient scheduled” message: Updated provider variable

Due to an error, the default provider variable in Communication Customization hasn’t consistently worked properly for the “Patient scheduled” email template and has showed up blank. This variable was not in the default template, but was able to be added from the dropdown. This error has been resolved with this release. Now, when the “Appointment Provider” variable is selected from the dropdown, the updated variable will be added to the email.

This update will simplify configuration and support better patient communication.

This feature will be automatically available upon release.

“Patient scheduled” message: New calendar variable

Previously, patients who self-scheduled had to manually add these appointments to their calendars; there wasn’t a way to add their appointments directly onto digital calendars. Now, we’ve added support for an “Add to Calendar” variable in the “Self-Scheduling Verification” email templates that will allow patients to sync their appointments onto their calendars—helping ensure they remember when to arrive.

This variable can be added to email templates of the “Patient Scheduled” message type by accessing Communication Customization within the Dashboard.

Eligibility and benefits

Lens authorization details for Vision Service Plan (VSP)

You can now review lens benefit details for Vision Service Plan (VSP) directly from the Pre-Authorization overlay on the dashboard. Previously, organizations had to navigate to a payer portal to authorize and access these benefits.

Automatically returning lens benefit details to the Dashboard means staff will be free to focus on other high-priority tasks.

This update will be automatically available to all organizations when VSP is aliased.

Now, patients can access their telehealth link via Phreesia’s workflows multiple times. The link will be available up to one hour after their scheduled appointment time, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity and flexibility.

This update will take place automatically for all organizations using Phreesia for telehealth.

Standardized content

Practice Workflows report

Did you know Phreesia’s standardized content has a 9.5% lower drop rate and 48% faster completion time compared to custom-made interviews? This means less work for you to keep forms up to date and higher completion rates from your patients. Easily understand what standardized content you’re using and when it’s being updated by leveraging the new Practice Workflows report—now a default for every organization.

The Practice Workflows feature allows you to instantly review the content of all workflows live across your organization without the need to contact your Phreesia representative.

This update will be automatically available upon release. For additional details or enablement instructions, please reach out to your Phreesia representative.

Updated PHR: Vaccine Information Statements (VIS) bundle

We will be updating several of our Vaccine Information Statements (VISs) to reflect the latest CDC source documentation:

  • PHR: Mpox VIS
  • PHR: Tdap VIS
  • PHR: Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) VIS

These updated VISs will be available upon release. For additional details or enablement instructions, please reach out to your Phreesia representative.

New PHR: JYNNEOS Vaccine Screening Checklist

We will be adding a new global JYNNEOS Vaccine Screening Checklist to reflect the latest CDC source documentation. The JYNNEOS Vaccine Screening Checklist is based on the latest guidelines and allows healthcare organizations to automate capturing information to screen patients for contraindications prior to their mpox vaccine and gain consent.

This checklist will be available upon release. For additional details or enablement instructions, please reach out to your Phreesia representative.

New discrete PHR: PRAPARE module versions

We now offer discrete global module versions for the domains that make up the full PRAPARE. This allows organizations to choose specific domains to administer if they don’t want to collect the full questionnaire:

  • PHR: PRAPARE → Personal Characteristics
  • PHR: PRAPARE → Family & Home
  • PHR: PRAPARE → Money & Resources
  • PHR: PRAPARE → Social & Emotional
  • PHR: PRAPARE → Additional Questions

These module versions will be available upon release. For additional details or enablement instructions, please reach out to your Phreesia representative.

New PHR: Pediatric Transition Screen

We now offer a module that informs the parent or guardian completing intake that the subsequent section should be completed by the patient for pediatric workflows.

This module will be available upon release. For additional details or enablement instructions, please reach out to your Phreesia representative.

New PHR: Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ)-15

We now offer a Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-15) to screen patients for somatoform disorders (psychiatric disorders that manifest as physical symptoms) in primary care settings.

This module will be available upon release. For additional details or enablement instructions, please reach out to your Phreesia representative.

New PHR: CAGE-Adapted to Include Drugs (CAGE-AID)

We now offer a CAGE-Adapted to Include Drugs (CAGE-AID) questionnaire, a self-reported tool that screens patients for both alcohol and drug use.

This module will be available upon release. For additional details or enablement instructions, please reach out to your Phreesia representative.

New PHR: Respirator Evaluation Questionnaire modules

We now offer two Respirator Evaluation Questionnaire modules, which help organizations collect required information for OSHA forms.

Respirators are mandatory in workplaces where employees are exposed to hazardous airborne contaminants. Prior to wearing a respirator, employees must first be evaluated via the Respirator Medical Questionnaire, which consists of two parts.

These modules will be available upon release. For additional details or enablement instructions, please reach out to your Phreesia representative.
